AWS Managed Policies for Amazon Bedrock

AWS managed policies for Amazon Bedrock simplify permissions management by providing predefined policies that cover common use cases. These policies are maintained and updated by AWS services.

New Policies

  • AmazonBedrockMantleFullAccess - Grants full access to all Amazon Bedrock Mantle operations.
  • AmazonBedrockMantleReadOnly - Grants read-only permissions to view Amazon Bedrock Mantle resources.
  • AmazonBedrockMantleInferenceAccess - Grants permissions to run inference on Amazon Bedrock Mantle models.
  • AmazonBedrockMarketplaceAccess - Grants permissions to manage and use Amazon Bedrock marketplace model endpoints with SageMaker AI integration.
  • AmazonBedrockLimitedAccess - Grants basic permissions to access core actions in Amazon Bedrock.

Updated Policies

  • AmazonBedrockFullAccess - Updated to enable access to all serverless foundation models by default.
  • AmazonBedrockReadOnly - Updated to include read-only permissions for various Amazon Bedrock resources and actions.

What to do

  • Review the new and updated policies to ensure they meet your access requirements.
  • Attach the appropriate policies to your IAM identities to manage permissions effectively.
  • Monitor updates to these policies for any changes that may impact your permissions.
