AWS Transform for mainframe now delivers a connected, traceable reimagine experience from assessment through code generation. Enterprises running z/OS COBOL and PL/I workloads can now assess their portfolio, identify discrete business functions, extract business rules, generate development-ready requirements, and produce traceable cloud-native code in a single workflow.

The experience includes:

• Portfolio Assessment: Identifies and catalogs discrete business functions.
• Reimagine Workflow: Creates a connected path from portfolio analysis through code generation.
• Development-Ready Requirements: Generates requirements with full traceability, integrated with Kiro and other IDEs.
• Interactive Documentation: Generates documentation for any requirement or code directly in the IDE.
• Traceability: Every requirement traces back to the source code for auditing purposes.
