AWS WAF Automatic SDK Integration for Amazon CloudFront

AWS WAF now offers automatic SDK integration for Amazon CloudFront distributions, simplifying the process of adding client-side signals for managed rule groups. This feature automatically adds the AWS WAF JavaScript SDK script tag to the HTML served by CloudFront, eliminating the need to manually add the script tag to each application page.

Key Features

  • Automatic SDK Integration: Adds the AWS WAF JavaScript SDK script tag to the HTML served by CloudFront.
  • Managed Rule Groups: Supports Bot Control, Fraud Control ATP, and Fraud Control ACFP.
  • No Application Changes: No changes required to application code, build process, or deployment.
  • Configuration: Available via AWS Management Console, CLI, SDK, CDK, or CloudFormation.
  • No Additional Charge: No extra cost for using this feature.
