AWS Transform agents now available in Kiro, Claude, Cursor, and Codex

AWS Transform Agents Now Accessible
AWS has made its Transform agents available through Kiro power, agent plugins, and the AWS Transform MCP server. Developers can now use AWS Transform capabilities in their preferred development environment, whether in an agentic IDE, the web console, or programmatically via MCP.
This launch provides flexibility for developers to choose the interface that suits their workflow while leveraging the transformation expertise of AWS Transform agents for various platforms, including Windows, VMware, and mainframes. Developers can initiate transformations in their IDE, monitor progress and collaborate in the web console, and view results back in their IDE, all while maintaining a consistent job state.
AWS Transform now supports IAM role authentication, allowing customers to use their existing AWS credentials to create a Transform environment, workspace, and transformation job.
