Amazon WorkSpaces Applications now supports IPv6

Amazon WorkSpaces Applications IPv6 Support
Amazon WorkSpaces Applications now supports IPv6 for WorkSpaces Applications domains and external endpoints, enabling end users to connect over IPv6 from compatible devices (excluding SAML authentication). This feature aids in meeting IPv6 compliance requirements and simplifies network architecture by eliminating the need for address translation equipment.
The Internet's rapid IPv4 address consumption is addressed by this IPv6 support, which provides a larger address space and avoids managing overlapping address spaces in VPCs. Applications can now be based on IPv6, ensuring future-readiness and compatibility with existing IPv4 systems through a fallback mechanism.
This feature is available at no additional cost in 16 AWS Regions, including US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon), Canada (Central), Europe (Paris, Frankfurt, London, Ireland), Asia Pacific (Tokyo, Mumbai, Sydney, Seoul, Singapore), South America (Sao Paulo), and AWS GovCloud (US-West, US-East). WorkSpaces Applications follows a pay-as-you-go pricing model.
What to do
- Use the latest WorkSpaces Applications client for Windows, macOS, or web access.
- Refer to the service documentation for more information.
