AWS Step Functions introduces a new metrics dashboard for enhanced observability, providing visibility into workflow operations at both the account and state machine levels.

What to do

• Open the dashboard in the AWS Step Functions console.
• View usage and billing metrics for both standard and express workflows.
• Access existing metrics like ApproximateOpenMapRunCount.
