AWS Security Hub CSPM now supports automated security checks that align with the Cyber Risk Institute (CRI) profile. This framework harmonizes cybersecurity and regulatory expectations for the financial services sector into a common set of requirements.

The new standard is available in all AWS Regions where Security Hub CSPM is available, including AWS GovCloud (US) and China Regions. To enable the standard across your AWS environment, use Security Hub central configuration.

What to do

• Enable the CRI Profile standard in your Security Hub central configuration.
• Review the CRI Profile v2.2 in the AWS Security Hub CSPM user guide.
• Subscribe to the Security Hub SNS topic for new features and controls.
• Try Security Hub CSPM at no cost for 30 days with the AWS Free Tier offering.
