IAM Identity Center Multi-Region Support

IAM Identity Center now supports replication to opt-in AWS Regions and between Regions within the AWS GovCloud (US) and AWS China Regions. This feature improves resilience and allows you to deploy applications in regions that align with your business needs.

What to do

  • Enable multi-Region support for new instances with a single click.
  • For existing instances, create a multi-Region CMK in AWS KMS and configure it in IAM Identity Center.
  • Use the standard application deployment workflow to deploy applications in additional Regions.
