AWS Glue SAP OData Connector and Zero-ETL Integrations Now Available in AWS GovCloud Regions
AWS has introduced the SAP OData connector and zero-ETL integrations in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) and AWS GovCloud (US-East) Regions. These features support Amazon DynamoDB, Salesforce, and SAP OData as sources, allowing customers in regulated environments to replicate data into Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, or other supported destinations without the need for custom data pipelines.
The SAP OData connector enables data extraction from SAP systems exposing OData services, eliminating the need for custom extraction logic or third-party middleware. The zero-ETL integrations are fully managed by AWS, reducing the need to build ETL data pipelines. This new integration allows efficient extraction and loading of data from Amazon DynamoDB databases or Salesforce and SAP applications into data lakes and warehouses for analysis.
What to do
- Navigate to the AWS Glue console and create a new zero-ETL integration.
- Configure settings in the no-code interface to set up your zero-ETL integration.
- Focus on deriving insights from your application data and improving operational efficiency.
