AWS introduces standardized product metadata for Amazon Bedrock in AWS Data Exports, providing consistent attributes for understanding Bedrock costs. This feature allows FinOps teams and administrators to attribute Bedrock spend without custom parsing.

Standardized Attributes

• Model Provider
• Model Name
• Pricing Unit
• Inference Type (e.g., input tokens or output tokens)
• Feature (e.g., On-Demand or Batch)
• Product Family Name (Amazon Bedrock)

What to do

• Create customized exports of your AWS cost and usage data.
• Deliver exports to Amazon S3 for querying with Amazon Athena or loading into your data warehouse.
• Utilize the standardized attributes in CUR 2.0 for cost analysis.
