AWS announces AWS Interconnect - multicloud connectivity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in GA

AWS Interconnect - multicloud with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is now Generally Available

AWS has announced the general availability of AWS Interconnect, enabling customers to quickly provision resilient, scalable private connections to other cloud providers, including OCI. This service simplifies the complexities of building and managing global multi-layered networks at scale.

New Features

• AWS Interconnect - multicloud is now available with OCI in the us-east-1 (N. Virginia) AWS Region.
• Customers can create an Interconnect using the AWS Management Console, CLI, or API.

What to do

• Provision private connections to OCI using AWS Interconnect.
• Utilize the AWS Management Console, CLI, or API for creating Interconnects.
