Amazon WorkSpaces Applications Updates

Amazon WorkSpaces Applications now offers enhanced flexibility features, including more compute instance types and configurable storage volumes. Customers can import custom EC2 AMIs to create Amazon WorkSpaces images, optimizing resources and costs.

New Features

• Compute Instances: 100+ additional instance types and sizes across general purpose, compute optimized, memory optimized, and accelerated options.
• Storage Volumes: Customizable storage ranging from 200GB to 500GB.
• Custom AMIs: Use Microsoft Windows Server 2022 AMIs with preferred image customization tools.
