AWS now offers Claude Sonnet 5.5, a smarter and more efficient Sonnet that delivers a clear leap forward on coding and knowledge work at a lower cost per task for most work at faster speed.

New Features:

• Smarter and more efficient Sonnet
• Stronger for coding and completing well-scoped tasks
• Produces ready-to-share knowledge work

Customers can access Claude Sonnet 5.5 through:

• Amazon Bedrock: Sonnet's capabilities with regional data residency and AWS-managed features
• Claude Platform on AWS: Direct access to Anthropic's native platform experience and capabilities
