Amazon EC2 M6in and M6idn instances are now available in additional regions

Amazon EC2 M6in and M6idn Instances Available in New Regions

Starting today, Amazon EC2 M6in and M6idn instances are available in AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) and South America (Sao Paulo) regions. These instances deliver up to 200Gbps network bandwidth, 2x more than comparable fifth-generation instances.

Use these instances for network-intensive workloads such as high-performance file systems, distributed web scale in-memory caches, caching fleets, real-time big data analytics, and Telco applications.

  • Instance Sizes: 10 sizes including metal, up to 128 vCPUs and 512 GiB of memory
  • EBS Bandwidth: Up to 100Gbps
  • IOPS: Up to 400K
  • EFA Networking: Supported on 32xlarge and metal sizes
  • Instance Storage: M6idn instances offer up to 7.6 TB

These instances are now available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Europe (Ireland, Frankfurt, Spain, Stockholm, Zurich, London), Asia Pacific (Hyderabad, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Seoul), South America (Sao Paulo), Canada (Central), and AWS GovCloud (US-West).

Purchase options include Savings Plans, On-Demand, and Spot instances.
