Amazon Bedrock Structured Outputs for Anthropic Claude Models

Amazon Bedrock now supports structured outputs for all Anthropic Claude models across both the bedrock-runtime and the bedrock-mantle endpoint. This feature allows you to receive schema-compliant JSON responses that conform to a defined structure, without custom parsing, retry logic, or post-processing.

With this update, you can automate reliable, schema-compliant tasks across various industries, such as:

• Extracting required fields from financial earnings reports and compliance documents
• Parsing clinical notes into Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Enriching product catalogs with consistent, validated results
• Analyzing contracts for key terms, parties, and obligations
