Kimi K3 by Moonshot AI is now generally available on Amazon Bedrock

Amazon Bedrock has expanded its open weight model portfolio with the addition of Kimi K3 from Moonshot AI, now generally available. This model, with 2.8 trillion parameters, is Moonshot AI's most capable and the first open model to reach such a scale. It features native vision capabilities and a 1-million-token context window, ideal for coding sessions, multi-document analysis, and extended workflows.

Moonshot AI reports a 2.5x improvement in scaling efficiency over Kimi K2. On Amazon Bedrock, Kimi K3 operates under the same security, access, encryption, and auditing controls as proprietary models. It also supports explicit prompt caching, reducing latency and input costs for repeated context usage.

Kimi K3 is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Bedrock is offered, through cross-Region inferencing. To begin, access the Amazon Bedrock Console. For more information, refer to the Amazon Bedrock documentation and the launch blog post.
