Database Savings Plans now supports Amazon OpenSearch Service and Amazon Neptune Analytics

AWS Database Savings Plans Expanded

AWS has expanded Database Savings Plans to include Amazon OpenSearch Service and Amazon Neptune Analytics. With this, you can save up to 35% by committing to a consistent usage over a one-year term. Savings Plans apply to all eligible serverless and provisioned instances across all engines, instance families, sizes, deployment options, and regions, except China.

You can start using Database Savings Plans through the AWS Billing and Cost Management Console or AWS CLI. To maximize savings, use purchase recommendations in the console or the Savings Plans Purchase Analyzer for custom scenarios.
