AWS Transfer Family Terraform Module Updates
AWS Transfer Family now includes end-to-end examples for deploying Transfer Family endpoints integrated with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID as custom identity providers for authentication and access control. This allows enterprises to automate and streamline the deployment of Transfer Family servers with their existing identity infrastructure.
New Features
- Terraform module with end-to-end examples for Okta and Microsoft Entra ID integration.
- Built-in security controls such as multi-factor authentication, audit logging, and per-user IP allowlisting.
- Okta example supports password-based authentication flows, TOTP-based MFA, and attribute retrieval.
- Entra ID example demonstrates password-based authentication for organizations standardized on Microsoft's identity platform.
