AWS Security Incident Response introduces integration with Slack

AWS Security Incident Response now offers integration with Slack, enabling faster and more effective security event response. This bidirectional integration allows for automatic data replication between the Security Incident Response console and Slack, with each case represented as a dedicated Slack channel. Responders can access critical case information and collaborate more efficiently.

Security teams can engage faster and accelerate response times by automatically adding Security Incident Response watchers to the corresponding Slack channel. The integration is available as an open-source solution on GitHub, leveraging EventBridge for existing security incident management and notification tooling.
