Amazon EC2 R8g Instances Now Available in Additional Regions

Amazon EC2 R8g instances, powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, are now available in AWS Europe (Paris) and Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) regions. These instances offer up to 30% better performance compared to AWS Graviton3-based instances and are ideal for memory-intensive workloads.

New Features

  • Up to 30% better performance for web applications, databases, and large Java applications.
  • Larger instance sizes with up to 3x more vCPU and memory.
  • Up to 50 Gbps enhanced networking bandwidth and 40 Gbps bandwidth to Amazon EBS.
