AWS Lambda Managed Instances Update

AWS Lambda now supports up to 32 GB of memory and 16 vCPUs for functions running on Lambda Managed Instances, enabling compute-intensive workloads without managing infrastructure. You can configure the memory-to-vCPU ratio to match your workload's resource profile.

New Features

  • Memory and vCPUs: Up to 32 GB of memory and 16 vCPUs.
  • Memory-to-vCPU Ratio: Choose between 2:1, 4:1, or 8:1.

What to do

  • Configure your Lambda functions with the new memory and vCPU settings.
  • Select the appropriate memory-to-vCPU ratio for your workload.
