AWS Health Introduces Version Catalog

AWS Health introduces the version catalog, a centralized source of lifecycle information for software versions across AWS services. This helps customers transition from reactive to proactive management of version upgrades and end-of-support risk.

The version catalog is available in the AWS Health Dashboard and can be integrated into operational workflows via the AWS Health API for customers on Business Support Plus, Enterprise Support, or Unified Operations.

At launch, the version catalog covers multiple services including Amazon RDS, Amazon EKS, and AWS Lambda, with more services to be added over time. It is available across all AWS Commercial Regions.

What to do

  • Visit the version catalog in the AWS Health Dashboard.
  • Read the documentation to learn more.
