AWS Deadline Cloud now supports new fleet scaling configurations for render farms

AWS Deadline Cloud Fleet Scaling Options
AWS Deadline Cloud introduces three new fleet scaling options to enhance flexibility in managing render farm capacity and performance:
- Worker idle duration: Specify how long workers remain available after completing a job, reducing wait times and speeding up iteration workflow.
- Standby worker count: Maintain a pool of pre-warmed, idle workers for immediate job submission, ensuring quick render starts.
- Scale out rate: Configure how quickly your fleet scales, up to 500 workers per minute, to match infrastructure needs.
What to do
- Review the new scaling options in the AWS Deadline Cloud documentation.
- Update your render farm configurations to utilize the new scaling options.
