AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) IPv6 Support

AWS MGN now supports IPv6 for service communication and application migrations, enabling transitions to modern network infrastructures.

What to do

  • Use dual-stack service endpoints for IPv4 and IPv6 communications.
  • Transfer replication data using IPv4 or IPv6 during migrations.
  • Launch servers in the target environment using IPv4, IPv6, or dual-stack configurations.

This feature is available in all AWS Regions supporting AWS MGN and Amazon EC2 dual-stack endpoints.
