AWS Application Migration Service is now AWS Transform MGN

AWS Transform MGN Release

AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) has been rebranded as AWS Transform MGN, reflecting its role as the replication engine for AWS Transform, an agentic migration service.

You can now choose between two rehosting experiences:

• Use the AWS Transform MGN console for direct control over replication and cutover.
• Use the AWS Transform agentic workflow, where an agent handles various tasks on your behalf, accelerating your migration to AWS.

AWS Transform MGN retains all existing compliance certifications, including FedRAMP High, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO, and SOC 1, 2, and 3. It is available in all commercial regions and both GovCloud (US) Regions.
