Amazon EC2 C6in Instances Now Available in AWS Asia Pacific (Taipei)

Starting today, Amazon EC2 C6in instances are available in AWS Asia Pacific (Taipei). These instances, powered by 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, deliver up to 200Gbps network bandwidth, offering 2x more network bandwidth compared to fifth-generation instances.

Use C6in instances for applications like network virtual appliances, Telco 5G User Plane Function (UPF), data analytics, high-performance computing (HPC), and CPU-based AI/ML workloads. Available in 10 sizes with up to 128 vCPUs, including bare metal size, these instances also offer up to 100Gbps of Amazon EBS bandwidth and up to 400K IOPS. EFA networking support is available on 32xlarge and metal sizes.
