AWS Local Zone in Istanbul, Türkiye

AWS has launched a new Local Zone in Istanbul, Türkiye, providing enhanced latency and data residency capabilities.

New Features

  • AWS Local Zone in Istanbul supports Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon EBS, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, Amazon VPC, AWS Direct Connect, and Application Load Balancer.

What to do

  • Enable the AWS Local Zone in Istanbul from the Amazon EC2 console or using the ModifyAvailabilityZoneGroup API.
  • Check the AWS Local Zones pricing page for cost details.
  • Visit the AWS Local Zones overview page for more information.
