This model applies to various databases and regions, including Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, and more, with no upfront payment required.

- Automatic application to eligible serverless and provisioned instances.
- Flexibility to change instance types, regions, and database engines without losing savings.
- Availability in all AWS Regions except China, with support for multiple database services.
