Amazon WorkSpaces Applications CloudWatch Metrics

Amazon WorkSpaces Applications has introduced new Amazon CloudWatch metrics for monitoring the health and performance of fleets, sessions, instances, and users. These metrics can be enabled from the Amazon CloudWatch console and dynamically update to reflect the latest performance metrics.

Administrators can set performance thresholds on available metrics to meet performance and budgeting criteria. Users can view instance and session performance metrics to troubleshoot end user streaming session related issues.

What to do

  • Use a WorkSpaces Applications image with the latest agent released on or after December 06, 2025.
  • Use Managed WorkSpaces Applications image updates released on or after December 05, 2025.
  • Enable monitoring from the Amazon CloudWatch console.

These CloudWatch metrics are available in all AWS commercial and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions where Amazon WorkSpaces Applications is available.
