Amazon Redshift Serverless Now Available in Osaka and Malaysia Regions

Amazon Redshift Serverless, which allows you to run and scale analytics without managing data warehouse clusters, is now available in the AWS Asia Pacific (Osaka) and Asia Pacific (Malaysia) regions. This service enables data analysts, developers, and data scientists to gain insights from data quickly. It automatically provisions and scales data warehouse capacity, ensuring high performance for analytics. You only pay for the compute used, on a per-second basis.

With Amazon Redshift Serverless, you can:

• Query data using the Query Editor V2 or your preferred tool
• Create databases, schemas, and tables
• Load data from Amazon S3
• Access data using Amazon Redshift data shares
• Restore snapshots from existing Amazon Redshift provisioned clusters
• Directly query data in open formats like Apache Parquet in Amazon S3 data lakes

Amazon Redshift Serverless provides unified billing for queries on any data source, helping you monitor and manage costs efficiently.
