Amazon Redshift Serverless

Introduces queue-based query resource management, allowing for dedicated query queues with customized monitoring rules for different workloads. This provides granular control over resource usage, enabling metrics-based predicates and automated responses.

What to do

  • Create dedicated query queues with distinct monitoring rules.
  • Assign queues to specific user roles and query groups.
  • Manage query monitoring rules (QMR) through the AWS Console and Redshift APIs.

This feature is available in all AWS regions that support Amazon Redshift Serverless. For more details, refer to the documentation.
