Amazon RDS Enhanced Console Experience

Amazon RDS now offers an improved console experience that centralizes all necessary information for database connectivity in one location, simplifying the process of connecting to your RDS databases.

The new experience includes ready-made code snippets for Java, Python, Node.js, and other languages, along with tools like the psql command line utility. These snippets are dynamically adjusted based on your database's authentication settings. For instance, if your cluster uses IAM authentication, the code snippets will incorporate token-based authentication. Additionally, the console provides integrated CloudShell access, enabling direct database connections from within the RDS console.

This feature is available for Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora MySQL, Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS for MySQL, and Amazon RDS for MariaDB across all commercial AWS Regions.
