Amazon RDS for Oracle

Amazon RDS for Oracle now offers R7i memory-optimized preconfigured instances with enhanced memory and storage I/O per vCPU. These instances, powered by custom 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, AWS Nitro System, and DDR5 memory, provide up to a 64:1 memory-to-vCPU ratio. Ideal for workloads requiring high memory, these instances allow for reduced vCPUs without impacting performance, lowering licensing and support costs.

These instances support both Oracle Database Enterprise Edition and Oracle Database Standard Edition 2 under the Bring Your Own License (BYOL) model. For more information, refer to the RDS for Oracle User Guide and Amazon RDS for Oracle Pricing for configurations, pricing, and region availability.
