Introducing the Capacity Reservation Topology API for AI, ML, and HPC instance types

Amazon EC2 Capacity Reservation Topology API Now Available
AWS has announced the general availability of the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Capacity Reservation Topology API. This new API, along with the Instance Topology API, allows customers to efficiently manage capacity, schedule jobs, and rank nodes for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and High-Performance Computing distributed workloads.
The Capacity Reservation Topology API provides a unique per-account hierarchical view of the relative location of capacity reservations, enabling efficient capacity planning and management without launching an instance. This API is available in multiple regions and supports all instances compatible with the Instance Topology API.
What to do
- Explore the new API to manage capacity reservations more efficiently.
- Schedule jobs and rank nodes for optimal performance in distributed parallel workloads.
- Visit the EC2 user guide for more information.
