Amazon OpenSearch Service Updates

Amazon OpenSearch Service has expanded its modernized operational analytics experience to AWS GovCloud regions, including AWS GovCloud (US-East) and AWS GovCloud (US-West). This expansion allows users to gain insights from data across managed domains and serverless collections from a single endpoint.

New Features

  • Workspaces: Enhance collaboration and productivity by creating dedicated spaces for teams.
  • Discover: A revamped interface providing a unified log exploration experience supporting multiple languages and data sources.
  • Data Selector: Supports multiple data sources for comprehensive analysis.
  • Visual Design and Query Autocomplete: Improved usability with a new visual design and query autocomplete features.

What to do

  • Create an OpenSearch application in the AWS Management Console.
  • Explore the enhanced Discover interface for unified log exploration.
  • Utilize Workspaces for better team collaboration.
