Amazon MQ Updates

Amazon MQ now supports certificate-based authentication for RabbitMQ brokers using X.509 client certificates with mutual TLS (mTLS). This feature is available for brokers running RabbitMQ version 4.2 and above.

What to do

  • Create a new broker using RabbitMQ 4.2 and M7g instance type.
  • Edit the configuration file with the required values.
  • Refer to the Amazon MQ developer guide for more details.

This feature is available in all regions where Amazon MQ RabbitMQ 4 instances are offered.
