Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra) in Middle East (UAE) Region

Amazon Keyspaces is now available in the Middle East (UAE) Region, enabling customers to build Cassandra-compatible applications with lower latency and data residency compliance.

New Features

  • Scalable, highly available, and managed Apache Cassandra–compatible database service.
  • Serverless, pay-for-what-you-use model.
  • Supports thousands of requests per second with unlimited throughput and storage.
  • Features include point-in-time recovery, Multi-Region replication, CDC streams, and IPv6 support.

What to do

  • Build low-latency applications using familiar Cassandra Query Language (CQL).
  • Avoid operational burden of managing Cassandra clusters.
