Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra) Regional Expansion

Amazon Keyspaces is now available in the Asia Pacific (Malaysia) and Asia Pacific (Thailand) Regions, enabling customers to build Cassandra-compatible applications with lower latency and meet data residency requirements.

New Features

  • Scalable, highly available, and managed Apache Cassandra–compatible database service.
  • Serverless service with pay-per-use pricing.
  • Support for thousands of requests per second with unlimited throughput and storage.
  • Features include point-in-time recovery, Multi-Region replication, CDC streams, and IPv6 support.

What to do

  • Build highly scalable, low-latency applications using familiar Cassandra Query Language (CQL).
  • Avoid the operational burden of managing Cassandra clusters.
