Amazon ECS expands IAM condition key support for RunTask and StartTask APIs

Amazon ECS IAM Condition Key Support
Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) now supports IAM condition keys for CPU and memory resources on the RunTask and StartTask APIs. This allows administrators to enforce consistent CPU and memory limits across all methods of launching ECS tasks, helping to prevent unexpected cost overruns and maintain alignment with resource policies.
What to do
- Update IAM policies to include ecs:task-cpu and ecs:task-memory condition keys for RunTask and StartTask APIs.
- Review and adjust resource allocation controls to ensure consistency across all task launching methods.
