Amazon EC2 X8aedz Instances Now Available in Mumbai and Seoul Regions

Starting today, Amazon EC2 X8aedz instances are available in Asia Pacific (Mumbai) and Asia Pacific (Seoul) regions. These instances are powered by 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors and offer the highest maximum CPU frequency of 5GHz in the cloud. They are ideal for workloads such as electronic design automation (EDA), physical layout, physical verification jobs, and relational databases.

Key Features

  • Processors: 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors (5GHz max frequency)
  • Memory to vCPU Ratio: 32:1
  • Instance Sizes: 8 sizes ranging from 2 to 96 vCPUs with 64 to 3,072 GiB of memory
  • Storage: Up to 8 TB of local NVMe SSD storage
  • Purchasing Options: Savings Plans, On-Demand instances, and Spot instances
