AWS DataSync Terraform Module Enhancements

AWS DataSync now supports Enhanced mode for transfers between S3 locations, enabling high-performance data transfers at scale. Enhanced mode uses parallel processing for higher performance and scalability, removes file count limitations, and provides detailed transfer metrics for better monitoring and management.

What to do

• Use Terraform to automatically provision DataSync tasks configured for Enhanced mode.
• Access the AWS DataSync Terraform module on GitHub or through the Terraform Registry.
• Refer to the AWS DataSync documentation for more information.
• Check the AWS Region table for DataSync availability.
