Amazon Connect makes it easier to get customer input on outbound calls

Amazon Connect Updates

Amazon Connect now supports Get Customer Input and Store Customer Input flow blocks for outbound voice whisper flows. This allows you to capture customer input on outbound calls before connecting to an agent, using either DTMF input or Amazon Lex Bot. This feature is available in all AWS commercial and AWS GovCloud (US-West) regions where Amazon Connect is offered.

What to do

  • Update your outbound call flows to include Get Customer Input and Store Customer Input blocks.
  • Test the new blocks to ensure they work as expected.
  • Consult the Amazon Connect Administrator Guide for more details.
