Amazon Cognito User Pools Private Connectivity with AWS PrivateLink

Amazon Cognito user pools now supports AWS PrivateLink for secure and private connectivity. This feature allows you to establish a private connection between your VPC and Amazon Cognito user pools, enabling you to manage and authenticate against your Cognito user pools without using the public internet.

What to do

  • Create an AWS PrivateLink interface endpoint for Amazon Cognito user pools using the AWS Management Console, AWS CLI, AWS SDKs, AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Configure your VPC endpoints to manage user pools, administrative operations, and user authentication flows.
  • Review the AWS PrivateLink pricing page for additional charges.
