Amazon CloudWatch Database Insights

Amazon CloudWatch Database Insights now supports on-demand analysis for RDS for SQL Server databases. This feature provides automated intelligence to analyze database performance data, identify anomalies, and offer remediation advice.

What to do

  • Enable Advanced mode in CloudWatch Database Insights for your RDS for SQL Server databases.
  • Use the RDS service console, AWS APIs, AWS SDK, or AWS CloudFormation to enable the feature.
  • Review RDS and Aurora documentation for regional availability and engine support.
