AWS and OpenAI Partnership Expands

AWS and OpenAI are expanding their partnership to bring advanced AI capabilities to the infrastructure trusted by millions of organizations. Three new offerings are now available on Amazon Bedrock:

New Offerings on Amazon Bedrock

• Latest OpenAI Models: Available on Amazon Bedrock with enterprise controls including IAM, AWS PrivateLink, guardrails, encryption, and CloudTrail logging.
• Codex: The OpenAI coding agent is now available in AWS environments. Customers can authenticate with AWS credentials and run inference through Bedrock. Codex will be accessible via the Codex CLI, desktop app, and VS Code extension.
• Managed Agents: Powered by OpenAI, these agents are designed for faster execution, sharper reasoning, and reliable steering of long-running tasks. Each agent has its own identity, logs each action, and runs in your environment with all inference on Amazon Bedrock.
