Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base Now Available

Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base, a fully managed retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) service, is now generally available. Developers can build production-ready AI agents grounded in enterprise data without managing vector databases, data pipelines, or retrieval infrastructure.

  • Fully managed service for data ingestion, storage optimization, and advanced retrieval
  • Six native data source connectors: Amazon S3, SharePoint, Confluence, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Web Crawler
  • Automatic data syncing and managed vector storage optimized for price-performance
  • Advanced retrieval capabilities: hybrid search, document ranking, and agentic retrieval
  • Integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for auto-generated permissions and built-in observability
