Amazon Aurora DSQL Integration with Kiro Powers and AI Agent Skills

AWS has introduced Amazon Aurora DSQL integration with Kiro powers and AI agent skills, facilitating faster development of Aurora DSQL-backed applications through AI agent-assisted development. This integration combines the Aurora DSQL Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with development best practices, allowing AI agents to assist with Aurora DSQL schema design, performance optimization, and database operations.

What to do

• Install the Kiro power for Aurora DSQL from the Kiro IDE for one-click access.
• Use the Skills CLI to install the Aurora DSQL skill and select preferred AI agents.
• Leverage the skill for dynamic guidance on Aurora DSQL Postgres-compatible SQL patterns, distributed database design, and IAM authentication.
