Web Grounding for Nova Models

AWS has announced the general availability of Web Grounding, a new built-in tool for Nova models. This tool can retrieve and incorporate publicly available information with citations as context for responses, reducing hallucinations and leading to more accurate outputs.

Web Grounding is available today with Nova Premier using the Amazon Bedrock tool use API in the AWS US East (N. Virginia) Region.

What to do

  • Use Web Grounding with Nova Premier via the Amazon Bedrock tool use API.
  • Stay tuned for support for additional Nova models.
