Two new models for agentic coding and efficient AI are now available in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart

AWS SageMaker JumpStart Model Updates
AWS has introduced GLM-5.1-FP8 and Phi-4-mini-instruct in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, enhancing the range of foundation models for enterprise AI workloads.
GLM-5.1-FP8
Specialized in agentic software engineering, GLM-5.1-FP8 excels in multi-round optimization, code generation, terminal tasks, and complex debugging. It's suited for automated code reviews, AI-driven development environments, and long-term problem-solving.
Phi-4-mini-instruct
Optimized for reasoning, math, and logic in resource-constrained environments, Phi-4-mini-instruct supports 24 languages and function calling. Ideal for edge deployment, latency-sensitive applications, multilingual chatbots, and scenarios requiring efficient reasoning.
What to do
- Deploy models via SageMaker Studio or the SageMaker Python SDK.
