SageMaker Notebook Instances now support P5en.48xl instance types

Amazon EC2 P5en.48xl Instances on SageMaker Notebook Instances
Amazon EC2 P5en.48xl instances are now available on SageMaker notebook instances, featuring 8 H200 GPUs with 1.7x GPU memory size and 1.4x GPU memory bandwidth compared to H100 GPUs in P5 instances. These instances pair H200 GPUs with 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, offering Gen5 PCIe between CPU and GPU for up to 4x the bandwidth and boosting AI training and inference performance. Additionally, P5en instances provide up to 35% improvement in latency with the third generation of EFA using Nitro v5, enhancing collective communications for distributed training workloads.
These instances are available in the AWS US East (N. Virginia and Ohio), US West (Oregon), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo) regions.
